Ayden is East Coast born and bred, having lived in Boston and New York. She studied the intersection of Politics and Entrepreneurship at NYU with a focus in non-profits. Ayden committed most of her summers to working with her hands—either in the dirt on farms or rolling out dough in bakeries. After a quarter life crisis sent her cross country to Ventura, she became a cheesemonger! Learning about California cheeses sparked an interest in the local farming and food ecosystems of Ventura County. Her passion for food justice, farming and small local nonprofits led her to Food Forward. When not working, you can find Ayden eating lots of cheese, surfing, throwing pottery or doing some extravagant baking project!
