Tara Blossom

Tara Blossom grew up in Berkeley, CA and graduated from UCLA with a degree in World Arts and Cultures and a minor in Labor Studies. They worked in the food industry for years where they were consistently amazed at how food builds community. During this time, they also volunteered with an organization in Silver Lake serving people experiencing houselessness. This experience deepened their understanding of the intersection between housing and food insecurity and led them to food justice work at Food Forward. In their free time, they enjoy surfing and being in nature.
