Jess Anetsberger

Jess lived most of their life in Kansas City, Missouri, where they were an automotive technician for GM. After tiring of the midwest weather and distance from loved ones, they trekked across the country to California to live with their partner and explore a new career path. With a desire to help communities in need, Jess began volunteering and found Food Forward! The stars aligned, and after interning with Food Forward they were able to join the family full time. Jess is now pursuing a BS in Geography and Environmental Studies at CSUN, and hopes to use these skills to continue to help alleviate food insecurity. When not working or in class, Jess enjoys gardening, playing video games/TTRPGs with their friends, finding the next bingeable show with their partner and two cats, and will never lose the passion for tinkering on cars.
