Michael Lima-Sabatini

Michael first joined Food Forward as the organization’s Grants Coordinator in 2023. Over the last three years, he has worked to strengthen funding relationships with private foundations, local government agencies, and other institutional stakeholders invested in building healthier communities and a more resilient food system. A Southern California native, Michael studied Public Affairs at UCLA before making his way to Food Forward. Outside of work, you’ll find him reading science fiction, working on his arm balances, or systematically hunting down the city’s best matcha.
