Sam Cahall
Hailing from the Appalachian Foothills, Sam Cahall has found a home in the San Gabriel Mountains and a place to champion food access at Food Forward. Her degree in Sociology roots her understanding of how deeply personal and important food is to a joyful and healthy life. Professionally, she has a background in sales and the food industry— from making small batch granola on a one-acre homestead to managing a bakery production plant. At Food Forward, Sam has put these skills to work as part of the Development Team. She takes care of donor relationships through database management and gleefully ran past Spring Melt silent auctions. Apart from food, she also enjoys abandoning craft projects, reading, dancing, and spending time exploring all LA County has to offer.
