Ellen DeVine

Ellen grew up on California’s Central Coast and graduated from the University of Puget Sound. After many years working in commercial production in the film industry, she shifted her career toward community-focused work in Los Angeles, supporting public charter schools and the students they served. There, she worked to strengthen operations so schools could better connect kids and families with resources to support their success.

At Food Forward, Ellen works with a fantastic team of mission-driven people to support partnerships with the hunger relief organizations distributing fresh produce across Southern California. She’s grateful to work alongside partners deeply rooted in their communities and values the opportunity to connect with the many organizations and people doing this work every day.

Ellen lives in the San Fernando Valley with her family and enjoys hiking, board games, art, and gathering around the table for storytelling and home-cooked meals.
