The Branch Out began as an event to “branch out” throughout Ventura County to grow deeper relationships with our farmers, backyard fruit donors, volunteers, and agency partners, and to celebrate the work of Food Forward while inspiring others to join us. Now in its 4th year, this Branch Out promises more of the same: good food, good brews, and good times as we celebrate another successful year of rescuing and donating surplus produce across Ventura.
This year, Topa Topa Brewing Co. has generously offered to host us at their soon-to-be opened space on Colt Street!

Free Admission, with beer and food for sale
Depending on the weather, we’ll either be outside in the beer garden or inside in the brewery itself. Topa Topa will be slinging amazing brews all afternoon and donating a portion of sales back to Food Forward! We’ll have live music playing good tunes and delicious food for purchase from Chef Tayo Waugh’s SO Truck. Plus, we’ll be bringing back our exciting raffle that’s made possible by our generous Ventura County sponsors and throwing in a silent auction to boot.
