Howdy Fruit-kateers!

A HUGE thanks to all who attended, drank, played, volunteered, bought, ate and simply enjoyed The Spring Melt this past Saturday at Greenbar.  What a night! A record 225+ fruitanthropists attended, making it our biggest and most successful fundraiser to date.  We’d like to extend our thanks to the MANY who contributed in so many generous ways including: ClementineGreenbar DistilleryValet of the DollsDJ Trent, Lolalaa Flowers, Debra Wilson, Matthew HodgesSpotlight Parties Photo Booth, and Jesse Gilbert.

Many thanks to Greg of Greg Fiore Photography for donating his talent to record the auspicious evening.  Take a look at the early shots here on our Facebook Page – and, if you haven’t already, “Like Us” so you can keep on top of our work, programs, and overall state of citri-fication.

While we expand the Farmers Market Recovery Program to include more LA markets, we’ve been holding fun trainings for New Glean Team Leads. We are STILL IN NEED of two leads at each location to make them hum. Glean Team Leads commit to volunteering 3-4 hours twice monthly at any of the following markets: Santa Monica (Sunday & Weds), Mar Vista, Hollywood, and Studio City. We are also looking for folks who might want to volunteer at our outreach table at the Hollywood and/or Mar Vista market once or twice a month. For more details please email
